Waller plate is a formwork tool used with wing nut in order to lock the construction tie rod from both the ends. Wing Nut and Waller plate are used in place of anchor nut. The use of Waller plate reduces the load of Construction Tie Rod and helps in transferring it to other materials attached adjacent to it.

Wing Nuts are used with Waller Plates to lock Construction Tie Rod from both the sides, so as to restrict the movement of Tie Rods and for proper formation of concrete. Both Wing Nuts and Waller Plates are threaded according to a size so as to use it with tie rods. Wing Nuts are used instead of Anchor Nuts in the formwork industry; both are alternatives of each other.
